Welcome

We acknowledge that all of us are on a journey. We’re at different places, coming from different experiences—oftentimes headed in very different directions. Our world offers many paths to choose from, but we believe that the God who is over all things has a path marked out for each of us. So how do we choose? That’s a question that we’re constantly exploring in our church community.

We want to be a church known for relentlessly seeking the LORD and His truth. We serve a great and loving God who is for all people, and we want to be a church that reflects that. Because the truth is, as neighbors and families, friends and companions, we’re not called to journey alone. Here at the Kroc Center, we are privileged to be located in such a vibrant and diverse community, and it is our prayerful passion to love God, love others, and serve and love our community in Jesus’ name.

We invite you to take your next step on your spiritual journey by coming to one of our community gatherings. Wherever you are, it is our hope that you are able to discover just what a beautiful journey life can be with God directing our paths.

Kroc Church is a place where people from all walks of life are welcomed and belong. We gather to study the Bible, worship God and progress together in community so that lives are changed through Jesus. Come join us, you belong here!  Read more about what we believe.

Meet the Lewis Family

Captains Brandon and Megan Lewis have served as officers in The Salvation Army for close to eight years and have served in various places and cultures.

See more about the Lewis Family

From building an urban Indianapolis community center to planting a church in Ottawa, Illinois, they have been blessed by the diversity of the waters Jesus has asked them to step out onto. They were married in Chicago, Illinois, in 2015 and soon added two more to their family, four-year-old Griffin and two-year-old Joanna.

After growing up in Omaha, Nebraska, Captain Brandon lived in Chicago, Wisconsin, throughout rural Illinois, across Indiana, and spent a summer in South America. He enjoys spending his free time serving as a search and rescue first responder. More than anything, he lives to give all glory and honor to Christ and desires to see disciples be multiplied for the Kingdom of God.

Captain Megan is one well-traveled servant of Christ from St. Louis to Virginia and many places in between. She describes home as wherever her family is. She is excited to make Quincy their home. She is an extroverted coffee lover who enjoys interior design and woodworking projects. Captain Megan is currently finishing her BA in Ministry in Leadership and Ethics from Nazarene Bible College. Both Captains Brandon and Megan hold certificates in Inclusive Leadership from The Salvation Army International Headquarters.

Meet the McClintocks

Let us introduce ourselves. We are Majors Trevor and Rochelle (Shelley) McClintock and we are excited to be a part of the beautiful Ray and Joan Kroc Corps Community Center!

The McClintocks met and married in Aberdeen, South Dakota, while attending Northern State University. Major Rochelle is from Spearfish, South Dakota and Major Trevor hails from Wichita, Kansas. The couple has been married for 23 years. The McClintocks have three adult children. Their son, Landon and his wife Megan are cadets at The Salvation Army’s College for Officer’s Training in Chicago, Illinois. Their daughter, Hannah, and son, Connor, work and live in Omaha, Nebraska. The McClintocks enjoy spending time with their family, traveling, visiting parks, bird-watching, golf, and playing games.

Major Rochelle holds a BA in Elementary and Special Education from Northern State University.  Major Trevor holds a BA in Ministry in Leadership and Ethics from Nazarene Bible College. The two enjoy working together as their gifts and skills go hand in hand as they serve and lead.

In The Salvation Army, officers serve as pastors of the church congregation as well as administrators for the community-oriented ministries that happen within the facility.
